When is CUSAT CAT 2023 exam scheduled? |

The CUSAT CAT 2023 exam is a Computer Based Test and will be conducted on 29th April, 30th April & 1st May 2023. Please also refer the prospectus and time table published in the web site https://admissions.cusat.ac.in for details and for any notifications in future. |

Editing provision will be available only once. Which is after completing your registration upto the closing date of registration. For any assistance, send an email from your registered email_id to the help-desk email admissions[at]cusat.ac.in. |

How many days it will take to confirm the application ? |
Ans. |
It will take 3 to 10 working days . University will verify and approve your application if the application is complete , otherwise the details of correction required in the application will be sent to the registered email id. Confirmation page can be downloaded from the candidate profile after application approval. |

Yes. Such sponsored candidates should register invariably for CAT 2023 and should obtain a valid rank for the same. |

After getting admission, you need to contact your admitted Department/School for the fee concession/e-grantz details. |

Is "The Right to Persons with Disabilities Act,2016" is implemented in CUSAT ? |

Yes, Vide University order No. AC.A3/Misc/2014 PF(3) Dated 31.05.2018, The Right to Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 is implemented in CUSAT. Candidates applying for Common Admission Test (CAT 2023) who wish to claim special reservation under Differently Abled Candidates/Persons with Disability/Physically Handicapped category as listed in the above act may please choose Differently Abled Candidate or Blind as the case may be, while filling up online application for CAT 2023 under the section "Special Reservations". |

Is there any difference between PWD (Person With Disability ) and DAC (Differently Abled Candidates ) given in the Prospectus and online registration form for admission to academic programmes of CUSAT ? |

There is no difference between PWD (Person With Disability ) and DAC (Differently Abled Candidates ) as far as CUSAT CAT admission portal is concerned. The words PWD and DAC is used intermittingly in Academic Prospectus 2023 and Online registration portal without any difference in meaning. |

Do students who wish to get admission only for BTech Marine Engineering need to apply for CAT2023 ? |
Ans. |
Yes, students who wish to get admission for BTech Marine Engineering at KMSME in CUSAT, should register for CAT2023, eventhough the admission will be based on the rank scored in Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Maritime University. |

Whether Other than Indian having OCI card can apply for CAT2023 ? |
Ans. |
Yes, Other than Indian OCI card holders can apply for CAT 2023 for courses having NRI seat reservation. They need to pay an additional amount of Rs.5000/- along with application fee. |
