University will verify and approve your application if the application is complete , otherwise the details of correction required in the application will be sent to the registered email id. Yes, Vide University order No. AC.A3/Misc/2014 PF(3) Dated 31.05.2018, The Right to Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 is implemented in CUSAT. Candidates applying for Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) who wish to claim special reservation under Differently Abled Candidates/Persons with Disability/Physically Handicapped category as listed in the above act may please choose Differently Abled Candidate or Blind as the case may be, while filling up online application for CAT 2024 under the section "Special Reservations".

There is no difference between PWD (Person With Disability ) and DAC (Differently Abled Candidates ) as far as CUSAT CAT admission portal is concerned. The words PWD and DAC is used intermittingly in Academic Prospectus 2024 and Online registration portal without any difference in meaning.

Yes, students who wish to get admission for BTech Marine Engineering at KMSME in CUSAT, should register for CAT2024, eventhough the admission will be based on the rank scored in Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Maritime University.

Yes, Other than Indian OCI card holders can apply for CAT 2024 for courses having NRI seat reservation. They need to pay an additional amount of Rs.5000/- along with application fee.
